Best find!

Since I didn't get to see any live performance while I was there, I randomly picked up this live concert DVD of Mauritanian singer, Ooleya Mint Amartichit.

I had a sense it was going to blow me away, and, ah, I was right. Just thinking of her singing brings tears to my eyes. Such a beauty and strength. One of those amazing singing that hit you so hard you forget to breathe, like Nusrat or Alim Qasimov.

Along with a live performance (at Paris' renowned Théâtre de la Ville), it comes with a documentary of her in her home country, which provides good information of Mauritania.
